PMDC-NMRI (EVMDC) Tenement Map

EVMDC’s project area is generally located within the boundaries of Basilisa and Cagdianao in the Province of Dinagat Islands, and characterized with unique physical features of uneven distribution of its lowlands and rolling hills signifying rich mineralizations of nickel-laterite ores. Barangays of Boa, Valencia and Legazpi were the direct and host barangays of the project site and were geographically situated within 10.1172 North and 125.6587 East (10° 7′ North, 125° 40′ East) with an estimated elevation above sea level of 7.6 meters or 24.9 feet.

Cagdianao is a coastal municipality in the island province, geographically located within 9° 55′ North, 125° 40′ East (9.9229, 125.6719), and which majorly holds more than 50 % of the project area. The Municipality itself is easily accessible through an airplane referencing at Manila, Luzon to Butuan City, Mindanao in an almost three (3) hour – trip going to Surigao City via private land vehicles, traversing an hour (1) trip from Surigao Port to San Jose Port via small public commuter boats and another two(2) – hour drive via San Jose – Loreto Highway accessing the site at Basilisa junction through the Valencia, Cagdianao route.
